This is a replay of the live broadcast with the Healthcare Podcasters: Janet M. Kennedy, Jared Johnson, and Joe Lavelle on Monday, December 21, 2015. Fellow podcasters Todd Eury had technical difficulties.
We discussed some of our favorite episodes from 2015.
Jared Johnson’s favorites from the Health IT marketer Podcast include:
- Joe Pulizzi, Content Marketing the Right Way – Audience First, Then Product
- Cari McLean, Standing Out With Social Media
- Linda Stotsky, Remember the Patient Voice
Janet’s featured podcasts:
- Dr Jeff Livingston: Going Hyper-Local to Serve Patients
- Tal Givoly – Medivizor and personalized health research
- Amanda Changuris – Managing Complaints in Social Media
Joe had so many episodes in 2015 (over-achiever!) that he did a Top 10 and wrote a blog post about it!
We’ll get Todd Eury’s technical worked out an on air ASAP!
From the 4 Musketeers of Healthcare Podcasters – we wish you a safe and happy holiday season and look forward to talking to a lot of you on our podcasts in 2016!
On Monday, November 23 a new Blab Show was launched! Featuring healthcare podcasters Joe Lavelle “The Intrepid Now Podcast,” Todd Eury “Pharmacy Podcast“, and Jared Johnson “The Healthcare IT Marketing Podcast” plus me, Janet Kennedy of the “Get Social Health” podcast. We joined together to share our interest in all things healthcare, marketing, technology, patient educations, social media, IT and more!
Our first show was introducing the four of us to the audience and each other. The show will air every Monday at 12:00pm (unless we find our listeners prefer another time). In the fiture our show agenda will be:
0 – 20 minutes Each host brings an item from the news or a topic for discussion to the group.
20 – 30 minutes We dig into a topic that needs a little more discussion
30 – 60 minutes A special guest of the week’s host is invited into the Blab plus we’ll open seats for other Blab attendees.
It’s not often I get to have a fellow healthcare marketing podcast host as a guest, primarily because there aren’t very many of us producing podcasts on healthcare and social media. That’s why I was excited to have Jared Johnson, founder of Ultera Digital and the host of “The Health IT Marketer Podcast” come on my podcast to “talk shop.” Before we got started talking about podcasts we had a lively discussion about reaching the first anniversary of his new entrepreneurial venture, Ultera Digital. Jared’s company provides digital marketing services to healthcare practices and hospitals.
In August of 2015 Jared launched the “Health IT Marketer Podcast” which focuses on the marketing trends that drive the technologies and information systems behind health care. Listen to our conversation or drop in at the time stamps below.
